Members of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, had a Souper Bowl Tailgate Party after the Feb. 5 Sunday service.

Everyone in the congregation was invited to welcome new church members to the “team.”

Congregants were treated to a delicious array of game day treats including subs, pizza, wings, chili, salads, snacks, birch beer, soda and of course, desserts.

All of the treats were free with donations of canned soup or money to help the church’s Mission Committee.

According to Marilyn Hill, chairwoman of the Welcoming Committee, which sponsored the event, the donations will benefit the Northern Lehigh Food Bank.
