The Salisbury swimming and diving team had its final dual meet of the 2016-17 season last Wednesday when it hosted Southern Lehigh at KidsPeace. Seven Falcons celebrated senior day at the meet, including boys swimmers Daniel Bonge, AJ Oliver, Mahlon Reihman and Ben Wiener, girls swimmer Brooke Rogers, boys diver Tyler Keller, and manager Alex Diamond.

The Falcons took several first-place finishes, but fell to the Spartans 111-61 in the girls meet and 114-61 in the boys meet.

Sarah Bobeck won two individual events. She took first place in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:02.13 and won the 100 freestyle in 56.47 seconds. Teammate Madaket Chassard won the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:35.77.

Salisbury girls won two of the three relays. The 200 freestyle relay team of Madison Jewell, Chassard, Bobeck and Rogers won with a time of 1:48.54. The same foursome won the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:59.51.

On the boys’ side, Reihman won a pair of individual events, including the 200 individual medley (1:58.56) and the 100 freestyle (48.07). Keller took first place in diving with a score of 319.25 and Ben Wiener won the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:17.30.
