PRIMARY ELECTION 2017

District Judge Michael J. Pochron has announced he will seek re-election to his district judge seat representing Salisbury Township and the 16th Ward of Allentown

A Democrat, Pochron will cross file and run on the Republican and Democratic tickets in the May 16 primary election.

Pochron spent 29 1/2 years with the Salisbury Township Police Department starting as a patrolman and retiring as a sergeant. He spent four years on the DeSales University Police Department before being elected district judge.

Pochron is a lifelong resident of Salisbury Township and is a graduate of Salisbury High School. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from East Stroudsburg University. Pochron and his wife Carol have three children. He serves as the head baseball coach at Salisbury High School.

“It has been a privilege to serve the residents of Salisbury Township and Allentown during the past six years,” Pochron said. “I look forward to the opportunity to continue to serve the residents for another term.”

Pochron’s pledge is to serve his community with fairness, honesty and respect.
