A fundraiser is being held to support an eighth grade Social Studies teacher at Eyer Middle School, Sean Boyle, who left in June 2016 to serve our country via the Army Reserve in East Africa.

The district is hosting a water bottle fundraiser to support Boyle and his Civil Affairs team’s efforts in East Africa.

With the money raised, a Polaroid camera and film will be purchased to allow Boyle to give the gift of identity to the children in the area in which he is serving.

Additional money will be donated to waterboys.org which helps provide well water to communities in East Africa.

The East Penn community has the opportunity to help support one of its own teachers in his duty and help entire communities get access to life-sustaining, clean water.
