Emmaus graduate joins Penn State board of trustees

Emmaus High School graduate David Kleppinger has been appointed by Governor Tom Wolf to the board of trustees at Penn State University. Kleppinger is a graduate of Penn State and Temple University School of Law.

As a member, Kleppinger said he would like to “expand his own horizons” and learn more. “What I’m looking forward to most is seeing the university continue its academic standing.” Kleppinger said, “It has a terrific standing already and if I can be a small part in further expanding that and building the reputation - then that is what I want to be a part of.”

Kleppinger currently holds the position of chairman of McNees Wallace & Nurick Law Firm in Lancaster and serves as chair of the management committee and chair of the political action committee.

He is a member of the Energy and Environmental and Government Relations Practice Group.

Kleppinger is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Kleppinger, of Emmaus.
