Lehigh Valley Beekeepers Association will have longtime beekeeper Bass Samaan display the revolutionary “Flow Hive” at its Feb. 16 meeting. It will be held 7 p.m. in rooms 107/108 of the Rothrock Library, Lehigh Carbon Community College, Schnecksville.

The “Flow Hive” has the potential to eliminate 95 percent of labor associated with honey harvesting, allows the beekeeper to harvest honey without opening the hive and with minimal disturbance to the bees, thereby greatly reducing the likelihood of being stung.

The program is free and open to the public.
