The Second Sunday Concert Series program, “An All-Amearican Celebration,” is: selections from “Rodeo’ by Aaron Copland; Sonata, Op.26, by Samuel Barber; Ballad, Op. 6, by Amy Beach; selections from Eight Bible Vignettes by R. Nathaniel Dett, and Fantasia on a Medieval Russian Theme by David Finko.
Richard Brodhead, Professor Emeritus at Temple University, composed Sonata Notturna for Erickson, who will premiere the piece Feb. 12.
Erickson’s most recent CD, “My Cup Runneth Over,” was acclaimed by Gramophone UK.
