Upper Macungie Township police are advising motorists to avoid Crackersport Road between Feb. 20 to Nov. 9 due to road construction.

Crackersport Road will be closed during the above listed time period due to construction in the area of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Northeast Extension (Interstate 476) overpass.

Motorists who use this roadway are encouraged to make alternate plans to avoid traffic delays and congestion.

A detour will be in place to assist motorists who typically use this roadway.
