Raymond T. Stauffer, 70, of Whitehall, died Feb. 6, 2017, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill.

Born Oct. 22, 1946, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Ellwood L. Sr. and Dorothy E. (Dwinal) Stauffer.

He owned and operated the former Stauffer’s Auto Body, Whitehall, for 25 years before retiring in 1999.

He was a member of Hokendauqua American Legion Post 739.

Having a love of the ocean, he was an avid boater.

His survivors include children Donald E. and his wife, Tracy, of Fogelsville, Darlene M. Raphael and her husband, Gary, of Maryland; siblings Ellwood L. Jr. and his wife, Elaine, of Allentown, Ricky and his wife, Kathleen, of Walnutport, Joanne Gordon and her husband, Gary, of Schickshinny; granddaughter, Kyra, Vanessa, Eliza and Maya.

The funeral service will be private. There will be no calling hours.
