Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?
A. One of my biggest challenges to date would be from back in the fall of my junior year when I was faced with a very unexpected medical scare. I could not have gotten through it without the amazing love and support I had from my friends and family. This challenge turned out to be a blessing for me as it has given me a passion for helping others and is one of the main reasons I am so passionate about pediatric cancer and the Pediatric Cancer Club.
Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. I most definitely admire my mom. She has always been both a mom and a friend to me and has shown me what compassion, kindness and grace look like in everyday life. She is a great role model and has a true heart for other people and sacrifices so much to be the best mom and friend someone can be.
Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?
A. Some of the best advice I have for my peers is to get involved. Being involved in both the school and the community has been such a rewarding experience for me and I have met so many new people that have become some of the most influential people in my life and that all stemmed from wanting to get involved and serve others.
