Emmaus High School students can purchase a sweet carnation for someone special to be delivered on Valentine’s Day. Include a personalized message and have it delivered to the recipient’s class Feb. 14. Students can also commission a personalized calligraphy message in one of 10 languages besides English. Look for Global Citizens Club members at lunch through Feb. 13 to make a purchase.

The U. S. Army will visit Emmaus High School Feb. 6. For a complete list of college visits to the school, visit the guidance office or check the school website.

Softball registration will be held 7 p.m. Feb. 9 in Cafe 2 at EHS.

The senior group picture will be taken 7:30 a.m. Feb. 9.

EHS dismisses students 11 a.m. Feb. 10.

The East Penn School District is closed for the Presidents Day Holiday Feb. 17 to 20.

The World Language’s International Fair will be held Feb. 25 in the cafeteria. The snow date is March 4.

The Health and Wellness sixth annual dodgeball tournament will be held 6 to 9 p.m. March 2 in the main and auxiliary gyms. If interested in playing, students should see a health or wellness/fitness teacher to sign-up. All paperwork must be submitted by Feb. 15 in order to play. Teams pay a group fee and there will be a charge for tickets at the door.

The 2017 Lehigh Valley Polar Plunge will be held Feb. 18 in Scott Park in Easton. This event is held to benefit the Lehigh Valley Special Olympics. If you are interested in joining the Emmaus Eskimos, email amcconlogue@eastpennsd.org.

Anyone interested in taking the Biology Olympiad test in February should attend meetings after school Wednesdays in Room 421.

Shave For The Brave will be held 5 p.m. March 24 at EHS. It is less than two months away from the big event so register now and start raising money for this wonderful cause. Anyone can donate. All spring sports open March 6.

SAT testing will be held 8 a.m. March 11.
