Upper Macungie Township police are investigating a series of thefts from unlocked vehicles during the overnight hours of Jan. 21-22.
According to Lt. Peter Nickischer, criminal investigations and community services division commander, the thefts occurred at the following locations:
·Two vehicles, 5000 block of Dogwood Lane;
·One vehicle, 300 block of Blue Sage Drive;
·One vehicle, 200 block of Blue Sage Drive;
·One vehicle, 200 block of Milkweed Drive;
·One vehicle, 4000 block of Bellflower Way;
·Three vehicles, 300 block of Sawgrass Drive;
·One vehicle, 200 block of Sawgrass Drive;
·Two vehicles, 100 block of Sunset Drive; and
·One vehicle, 5000 block of Merry Lane.
Police say a 2015 Toyota Camry was also stolen from the 200 block of Red Clover Lane.
Residents are reminded thieves target, and will continue to target, unlocked vehicles.
Police advise residents to remove valuables from vehicles and to lock the doors, especially during the overnight hours.
