The Auxiliary of Northern Valley EMS, NOVA, is taking orders for soup and cherry pies.
Here’s a great way to help our ambulance corps while also having some great things to eat and enjoy.
There will be four kinds of soup available.
Call Julie at 610-262-7749 to place orders by Feb. 13 for pickup on Feb. 19 or 20.

If you’re looking for something pleasant to do on a winter Sunday, try the Souper Bowl Tailgate party at Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, 11:30-12:30 p.m. on Feb. 5.
It’s an opportunity to get acquainted with others and to have some fellowship while enjoying pizza, subs, wings, chili, salads, birch beer, desserts and more.
There’s room at the table for all.
Although the meal is free, donations of canned soup or cash for the food bank will be accepted.
Union UCC has set a goal to collect at least 600 cans of soup to feed families in the community.
The congregation joins thousands of churches around the country in this project to fight hunger on the day of the “Big Game.”
Neffs United Church of Christ Preschool will have an open house at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 7.
With a curriculum aligned to Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards, the preschool uses developmentally appropriate practices to involve children in active learning.

Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, will have a luncheon 11:30 a.m. Souper Sunday, Feb. 5, to benefit World Hunger.
Members will use favorite recipes to prepare soups and desserts for judging in a contest.
Afterward, members and visitors can partake of the soups and dessert.
There is a fee to attend which is directed to the church’s fighting hunger project.

Schnecksville Fire Company will cook a buffet-style breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Jan. 29 in the main hall.
