Souper Bowl Sunday! Heidelberg Union Church is again collecting cans of soup.

The soup will be distributed to the Northern Lehigh Food Bank and Christ’s Church at Lowhill Food Pantry.

Last year, Heidelberg Church collected more than 6,137 cans.

Donations of any kind of soup may be dropped off at the church on or before Feb. 5.

Have you heard? Germansville Goodwill Fire Company membership dues are now payable.

As with your dues, additional donations of any amount toward the general fund or truck fund may be sent to Goodwill Fire Company, P.O. Box 69, Germansville, PA 18053.

With the fire company in mind, have you purchased your reflective house numbers yet?

When emergency crews need to find your home, will they be able to find it quickly?

Make sure your address numbers are visible and readable from the street.

Residents may purchase reflective house numbers from the fire company.

The numbers are big, bright and easy to read.
