BREAKING NEWS: Upper Macungie Township Police at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 24 are urging motorists to avoid Route 100 at Mohr Lane in both directions due to downed wires.

Wires down near the Upper Macungie and Lowhill Township line has caused significant traffic backups and other issues.

Police and fire units are on scene currently.

Police say updates will be issued.
