Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, is hosting up-close and personal visits with a variety of animals from 11:45 a.m.-1:45 p.m. Monday through Friday; and 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the Z wing.

The Zoo is also offering a wildlife show at 1 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays in the nature store.

Christ’s Church at Lowhill Food Pantry, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, is open 9-11 a.m. the first Saturday of each month and from 4-6:30 p.m. the third Thursday of each month.

Senior citizens are served 10 a.m. to noon the previous Wednesday.

The food pantry, serving Heidelberg, Lowhill, Lynn and Weisenberg townships, accepts donations 9-11 a.m. the last Saturday and third Tuesday of each month, and by appointment.
