Police were called to DevonHouse Senior Living 7:44 p.m. Jan. 6 for the report of a theft. Police are investigating.

A resident in the 1600 block of 33rd Street reported 7 p.m. Jan. 10 the sale of a pair of shoes on Craigslist for $1,200. Payment went through PayPal. The resident shipped the shoes to the purchaser in Illinois and PayPal informed the resident the account was fraudulent.

A resident in the 1400 block of Harriet Avenue reported 3 p.m. Jan. 6 the inability to access online banking. He later determined his People’s First account had been hacked.

Cary Henry, 54, of Easton, was charged with allegedly driving under suspension and careless driving following a traffic stop in the 2700 block of South Pike Avenue 7:06 p.m. Jan. 8. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Kalvin Johnston, 28, of Allentown, was given two citations for an alleged suspended license and disorderly conduct following a traffic stop at Interstate 78 and Summit Lawn exit 9:31 p.m. Jan. 10.

A resident in the 1200 block of Vermont Avenue reported 8:38 a.m. Jan. 10 an unknown person went through an unlocked car and removed $12 cash and a $15 stereo from the truck.

A resident in the 1000 block of Public Road was given a citation for an ordinance violation which prohibits fireworks, 3 p.m., Dec. 31, 2016.
