GIRL SCOUTS
The Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania and ArtsQuest will host the third annual Girl Scout Cookie Crunch 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 26 at the ArtsQuest Center, SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way. The event is a benefit for both GSEP and the ArtsQuest Art Education Fund for area students.
Area chefs and restaurants will create dishes made with Girl Scout Cookies. Attendees may sample the creations and vote for their favorites in several categories, including a new “Kid’s Choice” award.
There will be a guest appearance by Girl Scout junior Lucy Chelton of Sellersvile, a winner of the Food Network show “Chopped Jr.,”and Cindie Feldman of 29 Cooks Catering + Culinary Center of Macungie, a winner of the Food Network’s “Cooks vs. Cons.”

The East Penn School District’s Spring 2017 Community Education classes are open for registration. The registration deadline is Jan. 20. Most of the classes will begin the week of Feb. 6.
