Emmaus Historical Society will be open 5:30 to 8 p.m. for wine and cheese and will host Emmaus artist Bob Boehmer during SnowBlast Winter Arts Festival sponsored by the Emmaus Arts Commission.

Emmaus Historical Society is open noon to 5 p.m. with Winter Wonderland exhibits, displays and photos of historic local blizzards. The Society will host performances 1 to 3 p.m. by students from the Music Studio of Ariel Scholz during SnowBlast Winter Arts Festival. The Christmas Putz has transformed into a Winter Wonderland Putz and all winter exhibits will be on display through February.
Feb. 9
Lehigh Carbon Community College will offer a cooperative work experience for students at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., or Disneyland, Calif., during the fall 2017 semester. The program is available to students attending LCCC. The co-op program allows students to earn six college credits as they spend one semester working, learning and living at Disney World or Disneyland. Since the program began in September 1989, more than 600 LCCC students have participated. An informational meeting will be held 6:30 p.m. in the Academic Resource Center, Room 103, main campus in Schnecksville. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the meetings.
