LCCC:

Lehigh Carbon Community College’s (LCCC) Center for Leadership and Workforce Development is offering noncredit classes that teach leadership and management skills at its main campus in Schnecksville, North Whitehall Township. Two courses are being offered, with two half-day topics per course:

Essential Leadership Skills: Communication and Leadership, Feb. 7. The communication component is 8:30 a.m. - noon. Attendees learn how to construct concise messages, improve communication, manage nonverbal behaviors and more. During the leadership section, 1 - 4:30 p.m., participants learn how to deal with team members, enhance their self-esteem and improve problem-solving and decision-making.

Essential Skills of Management: Performance Feedback and Evaluation, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Feb. 14. The morning session topic is about developing performance goals and standards. The afternoon program is about performance feedback and assessments.
