State Police Troop M Fogelsville say American Bar Mat, Macungie, reported a hydraulic line on a construction forklift was cut sometime between 11 a.m. Dec. 16, 2016, and 7 a.m. Dec. 19, 2016, at 9606 West Hill Court, Weisenberg Township.
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Michael A. Sabler, 48, of Allentown was driving a 2015 Buick Lacrosse 6:40 a.m. Dec. 28, 2016, on Golden Key Road, Weisenberg Township, when it was hit by a 2003 Jeep Wrangler driven by Karen L. Kennedy, 53, of New Tripoli.
According to police, Sabler was traveling north on Golden Key Road, when he attempted to make a left turn onto Commerce Circle without clearance to do so.
His car was struck by Kennedy’s Jeep, which was traveling south on Golden Key Road approaching Commerce Circle.
The Jeep’s front bumper made initial impact with the passenger side of the car, police say.
According to police, the car was pushed southwest into the intersection and came to a final rest on the shoulder of Commerce Circle, facing west.
Kennedy pulled over onto Commerce Circle, facing west.
Sabler sustained a suspected minor injury, police say. Kennedy was not injured.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
Sabler was cited for a traffic violation regarding left turn rules.
