Schlossberg begins third term in office

With a robust focus on building a stronger economy and supporting families, state Rep. Mike Schlossberg, D-132nd, began his third term representing the 132nd Legislative District after taking the oath of office Jan. 3.

“I am grateful for the confidence the people of Allentown and South Whitehall placed in me for 2017 and 2018,” Schlossberg said. “Pennsylvanians told us loud and clear we need to build a stronger economy.

“I look forward to continuing the fight for workers, our neighborhoods, taxpayers and small businesses. We have a lot of difficult decisions to make this year and it is up to all of us to do this together, find solutions that work and deliver for Pennsylvania.” Schlossberg said he will maintain his commitment to community schools, secure resources for transportation improvements, and continue to support women’s health and work for equality for all Pennsylvanians.

In November, Schlossberg was re-elected as Northeast Democratic Delegation chairman.

The delegation consists of House members from Berks, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Northampton and Schuylkill counties.

Schlossberg’s district office, open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday is located on the first floor at 2030 W. Tilghman St., Allentown. Phone number is 610-821-5577.
