Treat yourself! On Jan. 14, Heidelberg Union Church, Church and Irving roads, in the Saegersville area, is having a family style chicken potpie dinner in fellowship hall. Snow date is Jan. 21.

The public is invited to attend. Reservations are required. Limited seating times are 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

In addition to a scrumptious chicken potpie, the meal includes bread, beverage and homemade desserts.

Show your support! Germansville Fire Company, 6011 Memorial Road, Germansville, is having a wing and cheese steak night from 5-10 p.m. Jan. 21 in the upstairs banquet hall.

Menu choices are: cheese steak, fries and a drink; and/or 10 jumbo wings, fries and a drink; and a kid’s meal consisting of chicken nuggets, fries and a drink.

Beverages include water, Coke, Sprite, Diet Coke and juice boxes.

Alcohol must be BYOB.

There will be live music provided by the group “Diaspora,” plus lots of raffles and prizes.

It is nice to note that last year’s wing night, the fire company sold more than 2,200 wings and 242 cheese steak meals! Wow!
