Allentown Central Catholic High School students returned from Christmas break with much to look forward to in the New Year.

The upcoming months will be filled with many sporting events, musical performances, academic competitions and senior students moving forward with college decisions.

On Jan. 16 Central Catholic will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Central Catholic’s midterm exams will take place Jan. 18, 19 and 20. The theology and social studies exams will be administered Jan. 18; world language and science given Jan. 19; and English and math Jan. 20. Students will be dismissed 11:30 a.m. each day. The second academic quarter ends Jan. 20 following the completion of midterm exams.

A school mass and guest speaker Jan. 23 are set to prepare ACCHS for the Washington D.C. March for Life. Hundreds of students from Central Catholic travel annually to the national event, which falls this year Jan. 27.
