Q: What grade are you in?
A: I am in 12th grade at Emmaus High School.
Q: What is your favorite subject? Why?
A: My favorite subject is biology because I find the study of life very interesting and I enjoy hands-on learning.
Q: Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A: I am a National Merit Semifinalist and I was accepted to the National Honor Society and the German Honor Society. I also placed first in the school and sixth in the state in the National Society of Professional Surveyors Trig-Star 2015 Competition.
Q: Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?
A: I am president of Interact Club and vice president of German Club. I am also a member of marching band, concert band, clarinet choir and spring stage crew.
Q: What is your next goal after high school?
A: My next goal after high school is to complete a bachelor’s degree in the biological sciences.
Q: What would you say your biggest challenge has been so far?
A: My biggest challenge to date has been my right arm disability, but it has also been an opportunity for me to grow.
Q: What do you want to be remembered for?
A: I would like to be remembered for my friendliness and my tenacity.
Q: Who is in your family?
A: My dad’s name is Ciaran and my mom’s name is Valerie. My sisters’ names are Aife and Fionnuir.
Q: Whom do you admre? Why?
A: I admire my grandma because she is the kindest, smartest, classiest and funniest person I know.
Q: Do you have any advice for your peers?
A: My advice for my peers would be to never let yourself or anyone else make you feel like you are not good enough.
