The eighth grade guidance information night for incoming ninth grade students to Emmaus High School will be held 6 p.m. Jan. 11. The event will take place in the auditorium and lobby.
The snow date is Jan. 18.
Tickets for the Snow Glow dance at EHS are on sale during lunch periods. The Snow Glow dance will be held 7 p.m. Jan. 14.
Dine to Donate for the Shave for the Brave will be held Jan. 16 at Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Trexlertown. Mention the St. Baldrick’s Shave for the Brave and they will donate 20 percent to the Shave.
The East Penn School District will be closed Jan. 16.
The Pennsylvania School for Global Entrepreneurship at Lehigh University and the University of Pittsburgh Health Career Scholars Academy, former Governor’s School programs, are accepting applications for the 2017 summer programs. Completed applications are to be returned to the EHS counseling office for submission by Jan 18.
The annual orchestra coffee house will be held 7 p.m. Jan. 20 in the cafeteria.
The first junior prom committee meeting will be after school Jan. 30 in room 569. If you would like to help plan the prom theme, decorations and songs, plan to attend.
The United States Navy will visit EHS Feb. 2 and the United States Army Feb. 6.
The World Language’s International Fair will be held Feb. 25 in the cafeteria.

Anyone interested in taking the biology Olympiad test in February should attend meetings after school Wednesdays in room 421. These sessions will be to access information, resources, past tests and to review.
