Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC)‘s Employment Retraining Opportunities (ERO), including a tuition waiver, is designed for those who have recently been affected by area layoffs and will help them find resources to get back on a career track.

To be eligible for funds, applicants must have been laid off from a full-time position within the past 12 months and be a resident of Lehigh, Carbon or Schuylkill counties, or have been working for an employer in those counties.

Applicants should complete an ERO application, submit a letter from the former employer and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Approved applicants may register for classes anytime. LCCC’s spring semester begins Jan. 13.
