Farm Link

PA Farm Link, in partnership with The Seed Farm, will offer a Farm Succession and Transition Program Jan. 24 at Lehigh County Agricultural Center, 4184 Dorney Park Road, South Whitehall.

Professionals in the agricultural industry will provide information to farm business owners who are looking to retire, scale back from farming or transition from a farm business to take on another adventure.

Topics include: Succession and Transition from a Legal Perspective; Goals and Needs of Farm Family Members; Financial Challenges of Succession Planning; and Challenges and Successes of Farm Succession.

Speakers will be a Mid-Atlantic Farm Credit Ag Professional; Darlene Livingston, PA Farm Link, and Attorney Jody Leighty with Stock and Leader.

Registration is required by Jan. 17. There is a small per person fee to attend.
