National Card Playing Day at the Lower Macungie Township Library. Stop by and play any of the card games or any other games throughout the day. Allentown AARP Chapter #5415 will meet noon at St. Timothy’s Church, 140 S. Ott St., Allentown. There will be a program on the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Non-members and guests are welcome. Bring a non-perishable food item for the Allentown Food Bank. Note: If Allentown School District closes for a snow day, the meeting is cancelled. Friday Social Line Dance at Lehigh Valley Active Life, 1633 W. Elm St., Allentown, 1 to 2 p.m. beginner; 2 to 4 p.m. intermediate. This class is for beginner dancers with some dance experience and those who have attended sessions before. Dances are reviewed and also new and popular dances are taught.
