For the first time LANTA will be providing free bus service New Year’s Eve through an agreement with Aaroe Law Offices of Easton. The announcement was made jointly by LANTA Executive Director Owen P. O’Neil and Paul and Nancy Aaroe, esq., principals at the law firm that dubs itself The DUI Guys.

“We are happy to join with Aaroe Law in enabling people to toast in the new year, enjoy dinner at their favorite Lehigh Valley restaurant and get home safely in time to watch the ball drop,” the statement said. “Aaroe Law will pay the fare for all riders after 6 p.m. New Year’s Eve,” O’Neil added.

With the promotional help of Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and 99.9 The Hawk radio, LANTA officials believe the free rides provide a safe transportation choice for many people.
