HEIDELBERG TOWNSHIP Heidelberg Church accepting desserts for soup kitchen
Treat yourself! Heidelberg Association for Retired Persons, better known as H.A.R.P., will meet 11 a.m. Jan. 3, 2017, in fellowship hall at Heidelberg Union Church.
Why not come in from the wintry weather and enjoy a warm and relaxing afternoon of game playing?
Bring a friend or two plus a covered dish to share, along with your old-time favorite board game, cards or anything you would like to play.
Remember, you do not need to be a Heidelberg Church member to attend.

Mix it up! Requests for donations of any kind of chocolate desserts are being sought Jan. 9, 2017, for the Allentown Soup Kitchen.
Baked goods may be dropped off 6-7 p.m. that evening in Heidelberg Church’s Fellowship Hall.
According to soup kitchen Coordinator Linda Hausamann, 163 hot meals were served recently to the hungry and homeless at the Allentown Soup Kitchen.
The meal included chicken, tossed salad, corn, applesauce, rolls and cookies for dessert provided by faithful Heidelberg bakers.
Special thanks to the volunteers of the day: Eleanor and Ron Klevenhagen, Robin Koch, Shirley Boger, Barbara Matthias and Charlene and Mark Bergstresser.

Save the date! On Jan. 14, 2017, Heidelberg Union Church, Church and Irving roads, in the Saegersville area, is having a chicken potpie dinner in fellowship hall. Snow date is on Jan. 21, 2017.
The public is invited to attend. Reservations are required. Limited seating times are 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
In addition to a delicious chicken potpie, the meal includes bread, beverage and homemade desserts.
