Firefighters from Cetronia, Greenawalds and Woodlawn fire companies responded to a call around 10 a.m. Dec. 21 from Liu’s House restaurant, 4128 Tilghman St., South Whitehall.
The caller reported a strong smell of natural gas in the restaurant.
All businesses in the complex were checked by firefighters, as a precaution, using gas detection meters.
UGI was notified and responded.
No additional natural gas was detected and firefighters cleared the scene within the hour.
