State Police Troop M Bethlehem say troopers attempted to serve a warrant on Nicholas Joseph Yonak, 36, of Slatington, 8:37 p.m. on Dec. 5 at South Loop Road, Washington Township, with negative results.

Police allege drug paraphernalia and a handgun were found and seized.

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say United Truck and Trailer Repair, Old 22, Weisenberg Township, was charged for a control of alarm devices and automatic dialing services after troopers responded for a fifth false alarm 10:33 p.m. Nov. 12.

Charges were filed with District Judge Rod Beck, Slatington.

State Police Troop L. Hamburg say Omar M. Shaban, 29, of San Antonio, Texas, was driving a 2016 Freightliner truck-tractor combo when it struck a 2013 Mercedes-Benz 250 driven by Abu Mohammed, 23, of Bronx, N.Y. after his car flipped onto its roof 6:33 p.m. Dec. 6 on I-78, Greenwich Township.

According to police, the car was westbound in the right lane on I-78, when it traveled from the right lane and struck an embankment along the right shoulder.

The car then flipped onto its roof into the right lane and was struck by the big rig.

Neither driver nor Mohammed’s passenger, Emmanuel Cudjoe, 24, of Yonkers, N.Y. were injured.

All three men were wearing their seat belts, police say.

Mohammed was charged with driving at an unsafe speed.

Kutztown EMS assisted at the scene.
