State Representative-elect Zach Mako, R-183rd, will continue the monthly veterans’ outreach hours and has set the first one for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 5, 2017, at his Slatington district office in the Slatington Borough Hall, 125 S. Walnut St.

Appointments are necessary.

During the special hours, veterans outreach specialist Jeffrey Saunders will be available to meet with local veterans and assist them with issues they may be having accessing benefits and services from the U.S. Veterans Administration.

The 183rd District includes Whitehall (part), South Whitehall (part) and Washington townships and Slatington Borough in Lehigh County and Allen, Lehigh and Moore (part) townships and North Catasauqua, Northampton and Walnutport boroughs in Northampton County.
