ST. ANN SCHOOL

The students of St. Ann School in Emmaus recently partnered with BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, located in the Hamilton Crossing Shopping Center, to bring holiday cheer to over 300 men and women on active duty in the U.S. military.

Carol Traupman-Carr, St. Ann school board member and church choir director, served as liaison and program coordinator.

BJ’s requested each student create a holiday greeting card which company representatives then distributed to various branches of the military.

“This [card project] ties in with St. Ann’s commitment to service,” Traupman-Carr explained,

On Dec. 12, BJ’s rewarded the students with a school-wide pizza party. The company provided 33 pizzas for approximately 300 students and several specialty pizzas for the faculty and staff. The students devoured the pizza with almost as much enthusiasm as they described the reindeer, trees, snowflakes and kind wishes inscribed on their cards.

The administration and staff of St. Ann are proud the school is the first in the state to participate in this project.
