Eric Adams, 22, of Allentown, was charged with allegedly having narcotics after a traffic stop was conducted on Chestnut Street at Beck Road, Upper Milford Township, 11:50 p.m. Nov. 13. According to police, the odor of marijuana was detected at the scene and a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. The search uncovered small amounts of narcotics and a stolen firearm. Charges filed against Adams include receiving stolen property, firearm not to be carried without a license and possession of a controlled substance, according to court records.
Luis Padilla Ortiz, 42, of Allentown, is accused of retail theft after allegedly removing $311 in merchandise from Wal-Mart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1 p.m. Nov. 29. Charges were filed.
Reported by a resident along Somerset Lane, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors removed Christmas lights from the front yard of a residence between 10 p.m. and midnight Nov. 28.
Reported by a resident in the 4300 block of Shimerville Road, Upper Milford Township, unknown actors removed eggs and soap from a roadside stand between 2 p.m. Nov. 10 and 10 a.m. Nov. 11 and between 10 a.m. Nov. 25 and 10 a.m. Nov. 28. A 12-year-old male, of Emmaus, sent threatening texts messages to hurt people to an 11-year-old female, of Macungie, while at Lower Macungie Middle School, Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:52 a.m. Nov. 17. The incident was referred to the Juvenile Impact Project.
A 16-year-old male, of Macungie, provided false identification to law enforcement about his identity during an investigation by police of three suspicious persons playing basketball in the street 2:54 a.m. Aug. 23.
A 50-year-old male and a 50-year-old female, both of the 4800 block of Parkview Drive South, were charged with endangering the welfare of children after they allowed their 16-year-old daughter to host an underage drinking party at their residence Oct. 30.
A 23-year-old male, of Emmaus, is suspected of driving under the influence after police were dispatched to a welfare check of an individual slumped over the steering wheel in a vehicle in the 8000 block of Bell Gate Road, Lower Milford Township, 7:18 a.m. Nov. 26.
Nathaniel David Singley, 24, of Emmaus, was taken into custody under suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at the intersection of Macungie Road and Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:52 a.m. Nov. 26. Charges were filed.
A 60-year-old woman, of Macungie, is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at Brookside Road and Sauerkraut Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 3:14 a.m. Nov. 3.
