Representative-elect Zach Mako, R-183rd, has announced he will continue operation of the district office locations of his predecessor, former state Rep. Julie Harhart.

“Rep. Harhart and her staff faithfully served the constituent needs of the 183rd District for more than two decades,” Mako said.

“It only makes sense to maintain these offices in the same location and with the same staff.

“Please do not hesitate to contact either office regarding state-related issues.”

District offices are at 2030 Center St., Northampton, and in Slatington Borough Hall, 125 S. Walnut St., Slatington.

Both offices are open 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The 183rd Legislative District includes, in Lehigh County, the townships of South Whitehall (districts 5, 6 and 8), Washington and Whitehall (districts 7, 10 and 11) and the Borough of Slatington; and in Northampton County, the townships of Allen, Lehigh, Moore (Beersville and Klecknersville districts) and the boroughs of North Catasauqua, Northampton and Walnutport.
