BREAKING NEWS: Emmaus Police Department are investigating a robbery which occurred at 9:45 p.m. Dec. 6 at the BB&T Bank, 1130 Chestnut St., Emmaus, after the robber allegedly stole the getaway vehicle from a business in Upper Macungie Township.

The vehicle had been previously reported stolen, police say.

Police say a man entered the bank and demanded money while displaying a handgun.

He then left with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a vehicle that was recovered several blocks from the bank.
