A holiday book drive to support reading and education is being held through Dec. 31 by Pantsuit Nation-Lehigh Valley Chapter.
The book drive is seeking books for preschool-age children to those at a sixth-grade reading level.
The books may be new or gently used, and books that show diverse adults and children are encouraged. The books will be distributed to children at Lehigh Valley-area child care centers that serve diverse families.
Books may be dropped off at Let’s Play Books, 244 Main St., Emmaus, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday; and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday.
Pantsuit Nation-Lehigh Valley Chapter is 2,000-plus women and men who are committed to uniting the community through events and outreach (such as the book drive). The group is dedicated to community giving, peaceful activism, and reducing hate and intolerance.
