Police seek information about elk killing

State Police Troop M, Bethlehem, are asking for the public’s help to identify the killer of an elk at the Lehigh Valley Game Preserve, 5050 Game Preserve Road, North Whitehall.

Police say the female elk was killed inside a fenced-in area sometime between 8:30 a.m. Dec. 3 and the next day.

Lehigh Valley Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrators who committed this crime.

Anyone having information relevant to this crime or that may lead to the arrest of this individual is encouraged to call state police at 610-861-2026, Trooper O’Hara or Lehigh Valley Crime Stoppers’ toll-free number, 1-800-426-TIPS.

Callers do not have to give their name, and could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
