Lisa Diane Bocina, 47 and David Kurt Saylor, 57, both of Salisbury Township, were charged with retail theft after allegedly removing merchandise from Kohl’s Department Store, 6900 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, Nov. 16. Bocina allegedly removed $295.31 in children’s clothing and merchandise. Saylor allegedly removed a pair of men’s dress shoes valued at $54.99. According to police, Bocina and Saylor were apprehended at their residence. Charges were filed.
A 16-year-old youth, of Macungie, was cited for retail theft after removing a 6-pack of Corona beer from Italiano Delite, 1985 Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:48 p.m. Nov. 11. A non-traffic citation for retail theft was filed.
Cotey Perry, 18, of Macungie, was cited for alleged underage drinking after a traffic stop for vehicle violations on Route 100 at Antique Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 2:09 a.m. Nov. 21. Perry allegedly was found to be in possession of three bottles of liquor. A citation was filed.
Alyssa Kathryn Frolich, 19, of Macungie, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Lower Macungie Road at Little Spur, Lower Macungie Township, 11:51 p.m. Nov. 6. Charges were filed.
Stacy Washington, 47, of Boyertown, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in the 7300 block of Sauerkraut Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 12:14 a.m. Nov. 5. Charges were filed.
A 31-year-old female, of Upper Milford Township, will be charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, according to police, after a traffic stop in the 3900 block of Tank Farm Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:25 a.m. Nov. 20.
A 22-year-old male, of Alburtis and a 27-year-old female, of Allentown, will be charged with drug possession and other offenses after a traffic stop in the 900 block of Willow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 1:05 a.m. Nov. 3. According to police, 286 grams of suspected marijuana were recovered from the vehicle and the passenger. The operator of the vehicle was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance and was taken into custody. The passenger will be charged with possession with intent and simple possession. The driver will be charged with driving under the influence and possession of a small amount of marijuana.
A 22-year-old male, of Northampton, will be charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop in the 5200 block of East Texas Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:13 a.m. Nov. 19. The male was taken into custody at the time. Police found the marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a search of the vehicle.
A 15-year-old male, of Macungie, was charged with drug possession in the 7700 block of Spring Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:55 p.m. Nov. 14. A small amount of marijuana was seized.
A barcode scanner for an iPad tablet was taken from a unlocked vehicle parked in a lot at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, Nov. 9.
