Allentown Public Library, 1210 Hamilton St., Allentown, is selling an appetizing cookbook, “What’s Cooking at the Library: 100 Years of Good Taste.”
The library’s centennial cookbook is priced to sell.
A navy blue canvas book bag may also be purchased to go with the book for a small fee.
The holiday deal is running through Dec. 29.
The cookbook is available to shoppers who stop by the library’s front circulation desk.
The spiral-bound book contains 344 recipes contributed by more than 30 library employees and families.
The book contains an eclectic mix of handed-down family recipes and modern dishes.
There are tried-and-true favorites, including German potato salad, chicken divan, pork barbecue and Moravian sugar cake.
All proceeds benefit the library.
