Women of Faith to meet Nov. 28

Spread the word! Sad to say, the Germansville Fire Company will not be selling its filling or bacon dressing for Thanksgiving this year. Nor will there be a fall craft show. The fire company thanks everyone for past support.

A friendly reminder! Those of you who ordered shoofly pies from the Lehigh-Northampton County Pomona Grange shoofly pie bake sale fundraiser, are reminded to pick up your pies 1-4 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Schnecksville Grange, Route 873, Schnecksville. Proceeds help with grange community service projects.

Girl’s night out! Heidelberg Church’s Women of Faith group will meet 6 p.m. Nov. 28 in fellowship hall.

Women of all ages are welcome. This busy bunch of ladies is full of activity and will be making fresh pine wreaths to enjoy this holiday season.

Fresh greens will be provided for those who are without a wreath.

If anyone has greens they would be willing to donate, someone from the group would be happy to pick them up.

For info, call Susan Bickert at 610-767-5782 or Linda Fritzinger at 610-767-9086.

More the merrier! Heidelberg Association for Retired Persons, better known as H.A.R.P., will have its annual Christmas party 11 a.m. Dec. 6 in Heidelberg Church’s Fellowship Hall.

All retirees from the community are welcome to come and enjoy the festivities.

You do not need to be a Heidelberg Church member to participate.

In addition to a friend or two, bring along a covered dish to share, along with a small cost wrapped exchange gift so you can play the game called, “Now you have it. Now you don’t.”

For info, call Katherine Blose at 610-336-0555 or Eleanor Klevenhagen at 610-841-9803.
