Pip the Mouse is back! And so is Hess’s!
This year, the Liberty Bell Museum’s holiday exhibit will showcase sculptures designed by Patrick Hulse, a Rhode Island-based artist with roots in the Lehigh Valley.
Each of the sculptures depicts a scene from Hess’s Department Store.
He created the sculptures based on pictures, stories and family mementos.
The exhibit also will feature photographs from the personal collection of Wolfgang Otto, vice president of Visual Merchandising at Hess’s Department Store.
This exhibit runs from Nov. 17-Dec. 31 at the Liberty Bell Museum, 622 W. Hamilton St., Allentown.
On Nov. 25, the museum will kick off the official “Pip: The Mouse Before Christmas” puppet show season.
The show runs Monday through Saturday 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
A Pennsylvania German Christmas tree and putz with historic buildings from around the Lehigh Valley also will be featured exhibits through Dec. 31.
There is a small admission fee for adults and children ages 4-17.
