Fire company, church offering breakfasts with Santa Claus

November is the month to celebrate thankfulness and to count our blessings.

I’m thankful to celebrate Thanksgiving for the 21st time in Lynn Township and for all the good neighbors and a community of people who care about others.

Lynnport Fire Company, Lynnport will host its annual turkey raffle Nov. 18. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Tickets are required for barbecue platters. Menu includes hamburger and turkey barbecues and hot dogs.

Tickets may be purchased the night of the raffle (no take outs).

The fire company’s Santa Breakfast will be 9-11 a.m. Dec. 18.

The morning includes breakfast, games, crafts and a picture with Santa. Find the registration form at lynnportfireco.org. Registration deadline is Dec. 5.

Lynnport Fire Company will be having hoagie sales beginning this month.

Orders are due no later than Nov. 25. Pick up is 11 a.m. Dec. 10.

Hoagies are made on premise and options include Italian with or without onions, tuna, ham ’n’ cheese, or turkey on either white or wheat rolls.

Ebenezer Church, New Tripoli, is hosting a Thanksgiving Priceless Bake Sale 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 20.

Stop in and grab one of the most delicious desserts in New Tripoli.

All proceeds benefit the youth program.

The church will also host a Breakfast with Santa 9 a.m. Dec. 10.

Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage and drinks.

Each child will receive a framed picture with Santa.
