Ellen Mae Hallman, 94, of Allentown, died Nov. 6, 2016, in the Villa of Fellowship Community, Whitehall.
She was the wife of the late Warren E. Hallman.
Born in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late Jess N. and Ada (Gleason) Edwards.
A 1939 graduate of Allentown High School, she attended Allentown Business School and was a telephone operator at Bell Telephone Company.
A member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, she was involved with its choir, sewing group and assisted with office responsibilities. She enjoyed knitting and was an avid sports fan.
Her survivors include daughters Carol Burton and husband, Roy III, of Danville, Mary Richards and husband, Todd, of Catasauqua; grandchildren Roy Burton IV, Corey Burton, Timothy Richards, Elizabeth Fletcher; great-grandchildren Taylor, Molly, Cole, Caleb, Corey, Jr., Brooke, McKayley; nieces; and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister, Jean Groff, and brother, Charles.
