Churches offer free Thanksgiving meals

According to information provided by the United Way, several Lehigh Valley organizations will offer free Thanksgiving meals to the community. Some locations will also offer free home-delivered meals or transportation arrangements for area residents who are not able to drive.

·Nov. 19: Everlasting Life Ministries at Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church, 224 N. Sixth St., Allentown; noon and 3 p.m. Call 610-776-4009. Donations of turkeys, baked and canned goods, and fresh fruit accepted.

St. James A.M.E. Zion Church, 410 W. Union Street, Allentown; noon-3 p.m.
