Two Lehigh Valley Press area teams won district titles Friday night, while two others advanced to a district title game.

Class 6A
Freedom-Emmaus
The Patriots knocked off the top-seeded Hornets 42-12.
Freedom’s Cyrus Thompson ran for four touchdowns in the game, including a 51-yard scamper on his first carry. He also ran in from 24, 9 and 16 yards. Joe Young scored the Patriots other two touchdowns on runs of 68 and 15 yards.
Lubens Myers scored twice for Emmaus.
Freedom, the No. 5 seed, moved on to meet No. 3 Parkland next week.
The Hornets season ends at 10-2.
Easton-Parkland
The Trojans beat the Red Rovers 42-7.
Parkland quarterback Michael Ruisch threw for three touchdowns in the game, while running back Nick Suriel scored twice and Jahan Worth had one touchdown.
Parkland meets Freedom in next week’s Class 6A title game.
Class 5A
Southern Lehigh-Whitehall
The Zephyrs beat the Spartans 35-14 for the District 11 Class 5A title.
Whitehall piled up 427 yards of offense. Zach Gilbert passed for 219 yards and three touchdown. Desmond Boykin caught a pair of touchdowns and had 105 yards receiving. Harrison Kasai also caught a touchdown pass. Marrero Braxton ran for the Zephs’ other score.
Whitehall moved on to next week’s PIAA playoffs.
Class 4A
Saucon Valley-Bethlehem Catholic
The Golden Hawks held on to beat the Panthers, 27-21.
Bethlehem Catholic’s Randy Terry ran for a pair of touchdowns in the game, while quarterback Javon Clements threw two touchdown passes, including one each to Jake Gonnerman and Daizhun Rhodes.
The Hawks will move on to next week’s state playoffs.
