Tri-Cees

The Tri-Cees Chorale, which meets at Lehigh Carbon Community College, will be featured performers at the Gymanfa Ganu Welsh song fest 2:30 p.m. Nov. 13.

The program will take place at United Presbyterian Church, 6750 PA Route 873, three miles north of Schnecksville.

Directed by Dr. David McConnell, the Tri-Cees includes staff and students from LCCC, retired teachers, area church choir singers, and other members from the community.

Founded in 2004, the Tri-Cees are not funded by the college but have use of the facilities for rehearsals, music storage and performances.

The song fest includes group singing of Welsh hymns under the direction of Ellis Williams, a performer, composer and conductor from Bangor.
