The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus, had its ninth annual Blessing of the Animals Oct. 8. Sr. Pastor the Rev. Ric Elliott and Associate Pastor Rev. Dr. Jim Bowers presided at the service and blessing. Gress Mountain Ranch, Orefield, brought several animals to be blessed and received financial donations from the congregation.
Karen Crag with Mimi, Kathryn Gress with Blacky the rabbit, Ben Gress with Princess and Amy and Maisy Oplinger attended the Blessing of the Animals.
